Sara Dear House Tour: Living Room

As we've lived in this house for over a year now, I've only ever done the empty house tour, which I ended with a big promise to keep y'all updated on how we decorate moving forward. #fail

But I kept hesitating to show because no room has felt "done" enough to show. Of course, no room is ever truly done, and if I wait until it's done, we will have moved already. So I'm kicking of the #SaraDearHome tour today with one of my favorite rooms - the living room. This is our upstairs family room (we have a split level) where we do most of our post kid bedtime hanging out, where we spend lots of time with friends and family when they're here, and where Gatsby sits on the sofa to lounge/watch cars drive by. It's a sunny spot when the clouds part in the afternoon because of the big window. Everything in here has been a purchase that I really love, so it took some time to put it all together, but without further ado - here's our living room.

Products:

Round baskets | White Rugs | Circle Shelf (similar) | Blue + Metallic Painting | Sofa | Large Side Tables | Ottoman | Faux Fur Pillows | Curtains (similar) | 9x12 Jute Rug | Cowhide Rug | Gold Tray | Geode Artwork | Deer Head (Similar) | TV Stand | Wicker Blanket Basket (similar) | Tufted Armchair from Home Goods (Similar) | Faux Fur Foot Stool | Small Side Table | Blue Mason Jars

Whew that was a lot of linking up. But I hope it helps if you found anything you love. And while I'm still hunting for the right piece of art on for that empty wall next to the window, and the books and ottman are constantly being rearranged and moved, I'm super happy with this room right now. It feels like an adult space - as it is intended, it cleans up nicely, but it's still nice and cozy with a bowl of popcorn and a warm blanket, which we keep all over the room just in case.

And as I post images of our home from now on, I'll be using the hashtag #saradearhome so you can check that out on Instagram to see more of our home!

Happy Monday! I hope your Monday is the least Monday-ey possible. xoxo
