The Pacific Northwest Fall is just magnificent. This is by far the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life, much less lived, and there's so much to do to celebrate Fall that we have had a hard time choosing. We ended up going to Fox Hollow Farm, a small family farm in Issaquah a couple of weeks ago and the boys loved it. LOVED.
They had an amazing petting zoo. I mean, it's a farm, so they had farm animals there we could pet... But the boys loved meeting the goats (and got a huge kick out of the goats nibbling on their shirts), pet so many horses, saw baby cows, kittens, chickens, peacocks, a big sleepy pig. Not to mention fun bouncy castles, candy buckets along the way, riding 4-wheelers, and all of our favorite part - the pumpkin patch.
We went with some dear friends with kids around the same age and even though it was pure chaos for everyone chasing tiny people, plus a few toddler meltdowns, it was a wonderful way to spend a Fall morning. And afterwards, we all took a nice long nap to refuel for Football and snacks.
It was such a wonderful time and I'm so glad we went. How about y'all - have you gone to any Fall Festivals yet this year? Have you bought your pumpkins? Anyone else let their toddlers climb the pumpkins like the park jungle gym? :D
