Alaskan Pollock Burgers with Avocado Lime Salsa

I am basically on a constant search for healthy options to make for dinner. But not just healthy, quick, easy enough to make with toddlers under foot, and oh, you know, actually tasty. Thankfully, Costco exists, so when I finally do find something that fits all of those criteria, I can buy it in mass quantities and keep it on hand at all times. 

I love to keep freezer staples on hand from Costco, especially things like these Trident Seafoods® Wild Alaskan Seafood Burgers. They're a healthy alternative to the "easy" foods we could be putting on the table, and they're still delicious, so they're a welcome (and healthy) addition to our busy night arsenal.

They're located in the frozen meat section of Costco and come in handy resealable zippered bags which is awesome because one bag feeds us a few times over!

We try to pack more and more seafood into our diet just because of the numerous health benefits including the brain-boosting Omega-3s and their impact on overall health (I'm a mom... I need all the brain boosting power I can get). They can be baked right in the oven for 9-10 minutes on each side and are great for everything from burgers (As I've made here), or even thrown on a salad or with scrambled eggs. But baking them is my fav because it gives me plenty of time to whip up the rest of the meal. In this case, a delicious Avocado-Lime salsa that's just to die for and so quick to whip up, you might even have time to do a little mid-prep clean up. Or pour yourself a glass of vino... your call.

Minimal prep, fresh ingredients, super tasty, healthy meal the whole family will eat (and love!). Do you really need anything else...? Oh yeah - the recipe, duh.

Alaskan Pollock Burgers with Avocado Lime Salsa

Serves: 4-6 | Time: 30 Minutes | Temp: 400


  • Trident Seafood Wild Alaskan Pollock Burgers
  • Sliced Sesame Kaiser Rolls (or your favorite burger bun)
  • Green Leaf Lettuce
  • Avocado Lime Salsa

For the Salsa:

  • 2 Medium Avocados, ripe, and roughly diced
  • 3/4 Cup Cherry Tomatoes, Quartered
  • 1/2 Purple Onion, Finely Diced
  • Zest + Juice from One Lime
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely minced


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place (still frozen!) Trident Seafoods Wild Alaskan Pollock Burgers in for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. Meanwhile, prep the salsa. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, gently stirring to combine between each ingredient. (Side note: can be made ahead of time and stored in fridge until needed. Just store with the pit from the avocado, and covered, to keep it from browning)
  4. Build your burger: Bun, lettuce, burger, heaping pile of salsa on top, bun. Enjoy. They're pretty delicious, y'all.
